During 2008, airline prices soared through the roof due to the increase of crude oil prices. In 2009, with the the decrease in the price of jet fuel and the competitive market of airlines trying to fill their seats, we should be seeing some good deals. I have read that the best day to book a flight to try to receive the best price is Wednesday morning. I have heard that the best time is 12:30am. Last summer we visited Myrtle Beach. Airfare prices were quite expensive so we opted to take the 10 hour drive. This year I have found non-stop roundtrip prices from the area to Myrtle Beach for about $150!!
