A Family Affair
Hi everyone! I’ve just learned about this blog and I’m so excited to let everyone know how great it’s been to work for Sundance Vacations. First, I have to start off by saying that my mom has worked for the company for seven years and she has never been so happier. I am the proud mother of two beautiful boys: Alex is five and Parker is three. I have been a stay at home mom for most of the past five years. Although, as many of us know, that is a very demanding job in itself, I decided it was time for me to go back into the workforce. As I’m sure many of you know, when you’re making a decision that affects your family, you are very careful in coming to a comfortable conclusion. My most obvious worry was whether or not I would be able to manage my home life along with my professional life. No sooner did that thought enter my mind than I thought of Judy Romanelli, a manager in the New Client Services (NCS) Department. I knew Judy prior to working at Sundance Vacations through my mother and also from the school where we both send our children. Judy has worked for Sundance Vacations for many years. I have admired the way she has been able to handle both her professional life and her family life and realized that I could do it too. After making the decision to indeed move back into the workforce, the first thing I wanted to do was to find out if there were any job openings in NCS. To my surprise, there was! An interview time was arranged…I was on my way to being a working mom!! Needless to say, I got the job!!! I have been so thrilled with everything I’ve learned. Most of us in NCS have children and all of the ladies have been so wonderful in giving me faith that I have made the right decision. I have learned so much from each of them and it’s been so great. We all have different personalities that somehow manage to mesh into this great, one for all, all for one, customer service team. And, I can honestly say that this is a team I am so proud to be a part of. It’s really great to look around and see that even though most of us are working moms and similar in so many ways, we really have such different backgrounds and we are all able to learn from and to teach each other; whether it is on how to handle an upset client to what to do with a teething baby. I know without a doubt that I have made the right decision to come back to work and when things may get hard professionally or personally, I know I have this great group of woman to help me through.

I just wanted to say that we are glad to have Sarah with us. She is one of the nicest people I have ever met. She is such a pleasure to talk to and also she laughs just like her mother. Welcome to Sundance vacations Sarah!!!!

Hey Sarah, welcome aboard. We are really a family here. When ever anyone has a problem whether it’s professionally or personal, help is always there. You are doing a good job. Keep it up.
I would like everyone to know that ncs Lauren Langan will be graduating on Thursday!!!! We are so proud of her! So, when you see Lauren make sure to congratulate her for a job well done!
Welcome to Sundance Vacations. I have been with the company for almost nine years. I started working for them and then my mom decided that she would like to go back to work also, after being a stay at home mom with me, so I brought her to Sundance Vacations. We have been working beside each other for almost 9 years now and it is great working together.
I would like to say thank you to all of the girls in New Client Services. I could not be more proud of them. I have been managing the department now for 3 years and could not be more proud of a team. They are all there for one another, personally and professionally. We had a situation recreantly that a representative had scheduled a day off and another representative had a family emergency, immediately the department volunteered to help her out to cover her shift. That is what I call team work. I can go on and on with all the great and wonderful things they do for the company and for each other. Keep up the great work girls!

I just want to say how much I love working for Sundance Vacations. I worked here for approx. 6 years starting out as a marketer and then to the computer room. I left the company for a number of years and I am so thankful that John and Tina agreed to rehire me 3 1/2 years ago to work in the accounting department. Everyone is so great here. We have a terrific team. We all help each other when any of us needs it.
John and Tina are very special people. They care about each and every employee. Marvin (who is in charge of accounting) is very helpful in so many ways. Whenever I had a problem, he was always there to help me through it. There were times we would have to stay very late to fix some problems and he never got upset about it. So many people say the grass isn’t always greener on the other side. I can tell you that is so…..true. I have worked a few different places and there is no place like Sundance. I consider this to be one of the best places to work in PA.

I enjoy working at Sundance Vacations too. I started off as a marketer and when a position became available over in the admin department I went for it. So I will be with the company two years and hopefully many more.
Sarah, you are one of the nicest people! I am so glad you joined us here at Sundance! The NCS department is definitely one of my favorites!!
I would like to commend Sarah Kozloski and Aisha Tillman, our newest additions to New Client Services. Sarah and Aisha have been doing a phenomenal job, picking up on procedures and adding their own unique skills for helping clients. Both girls are very patient with clients, co-workers and customers which is VERY important in their positions. New Client Services deals with Marketing, Sales, TAN, Promotions and we answer inquiries about our company for potential customers. New Client Services helps clients and those who have questions about the program and the company. We answer promotional questions, resolve concerns and book employee vacations. There are different procedures for each sales office which can be confusing, especially when things are ever changing. Our whole department works very hard to keep up with changes and helps out whenever another department needs assistance. Customer Service does not end at the customer, it is also company wide. Aisha and Sarah have definitely impressed me. Thank you girls, keep up the good work!!
Just a quick note to remind all employees of the summer rules that apply to booking a vacation. Employees can request a TAN vacation anytime before July 1st and anytime after August 18th. Please submit your reqeust to your manager to be handed over to New Client Services to submit your request. Thank you and have a great summer!!
