Sundance Web-Site Scheduled for Renovation

Our society is depending more and more on technology and the Internet to find what they want.  Whether it’s information, goods or services, people are looking to the net to fulfill their needs. As an innovative and progressive company, Sundance Vacations wants to keep up with the times.  So, we have decided to re-vamp our website while keeping our target users in mind.  What kind of changes would you like to see on our website? What would you like to see stay the same?  Whether you are an employee, a client, or just browsing, we are really interested in your thoughts and ideas.

The web site we currently have is very informative. I like to read and comment on the blogs. It is enjoyable to read others comments as well. I think to entice more employees to spend time browsing the site there should be a section dedicated to a Sundance represenative that deserves recognition once a month or even once a week!! That added touch of personalism may also show clients what a great company Sundance vacations is by honoring those employees who are hard at work helping clients enjoy their vacation experiences at affordable prices.

Candy, I think that’s a great idea! We are planning on having a career opportunity area and some sort of employee biography page, but we never talked about taking turns highlighting different employees. I will definitely bring that up during the design process. Thanks for the suggestion!

I love reading about the trip reports of both clients and employees. Viewing these storys keeps our enthusiasm up for the good we do for families. I also like the idea of employee bios.

I am very excited about the revamping of the Sundance Website. Being part of the IT team at Sundance Vacations I have seen many changes take place over the past 7 years. One thing that I think that many clients would benefit from would be instant chatting with one of our reps. In today’s computer age most people (myself included) would rather conduct as much business as possible on the internet rather then the telephone where you have to deal with long hold times and people who sometimes struggle to grasp the basics of the english language. Being able to chat with a rep online offers the client the ability to be able to multi-task because they can continue to conduct their daily business as they talk to a client. I am very excited to see that Sundance Vacations is moving by leaps and bounds into the digital age and I am sure that as John Dowd said the new website is sure to be “nifty”.

Hey! Great idea, Jenny. There is an excellent program out there called LiveChat– I will tell Kathy and Amanda about it. You can also be proactive with this program by seeing how many people are online at any given time, and you can iniated a chat with users…. so cool! A lot of Solid Cactus clients are using it. ; )
