Halloween Night

The moon is bright

The decorations are quite a sight

I guess that means it’s Halloween night

The kids are planning they’re route

Goblins and Ghouls are out and about

The fun begins when the lights go out

The make up goes on

The costumes are tied

The wagon starts up for the Halloween Ride

Smiling faces knocking at the door

Pillow cases are filled with candy apples and treats galore

What more could you ask for

There are pumpkins lighting up the windows

Witching flying when the wind blows

Scarecrows standing where the grass grows

You close your eyes cause you can’t believe what you’ve seen

You say to yourself this is all just a dream

When in fact it isn’t it’s just Halloween

WE ARE…PENN STATE!

A couple of weeks ago John Dowd came up with this great idea to go to the Penn State game. So he rounded up a few of us to get together a little tailgate party and head south. The day started at 6:30am when we were all to meet here at the corporate office. Ron was driving all of us in his RV and that’s what time he wanted to head out. We were all here at 6:30am and there was no sign of Ron. He finally showed up at about 7:15 and we hit the road. That’s where the fun began. Game_2 We had such a blast on the way up there. We even have a videotape of Jeff singing some Mr. Big for us. It was great. Once we arrived at Penn State we started up the grill and really starting have some fun. We played a few tailgating games before we headed into the big stadium. It was the first game of the season so everyone there was so fired up and ready for the New Year. WE ARE… PENN STATE is what you heard across the whole stadium. Everyone was on their feet chanting with pom poms in their hands. We decide while rooting for our favorite team we would do it Sundance style. We all showed up with our shirts on to represent Sundance Vacations. John decided to make a bet with Kristin, Lindsey and I. Game The original bet was that he was going to take the underdog. Right before we shook on it he decided that he couldn’t go against his team so he decided to take his team by 35 ½ points. The bet was he would have to take us three out to lunch if we won and we would have to take him and Tina if he won. We had this one in the bag. We were so excited and starting planning on where we were going to have lunch. Well it didn’t turn out in our favor. Penn State stomped the opposing team, which meant we lost pretty bad.  John came in the day we had to take him and Tina out to lunch saying he hasn’t eaten in 2 days and he was starving. He picked Red Lobster because he wanted to pick out his own lobster. He wanted steak and 4 appetizers and of course he wanted some dessert. He was milking this the best he could. We all had such a great time and learned a valuable lesson. Never bet against John Dowd!!!!

Farewell and Good Luck!

Recently we were informed that one of our good friends here at Sundance Vacations was leaving us. Kristin Bellino works in our Permission Marketing department, and puts together the sales and marketing newsletters. She recently found out she was relocating to Albany, NY. We are all going to miss her sooooo much and wish her the best of luck with wherever her new journey throws at her. I hope you keep in touch and come in and visit us as much as you can. I think I can speak for everyone and say that we are all going to miss her smiling face in the morning and of course all the wonderful pasta dishes she always had for lunch. LOL!!!! I will miss you very much Kristin and I really hope you stay in touch. You have been such a great friend to have and I hope we will always stay that way. Good luck with everything and don’t forget to remember that TGI Fridays is always open on Fridays……..
